hello everyone! long time since i last blogged! time to make some announcement again...

C2 H2 CHEM LECTURE TEST 2

dear C2 H2 chem students,
please be reminded that the Chem Lecture test (2) is on Week 9
Monday, 14th may.
topics tested: energetics, chem equilibria and ionic
equilibria (not including Ksp). - pay more emphasis on the last 2
topics.
format of test: mcq and structured questions.
time: 45 minutes
please be punctual and settle down quickly for the test.

C2 H2 Physics Block Test 2

SCHEME OF ASSESSMENT

The assessment comprises of 3 papers and constitutes 10% of your final Physics grade.

Paper 1
30 marks
1 h
Paper 2
50 marks
1 h 10 min
Paper 3
Section A
35 marks
1 h 25 min
Section B
20 marks

Paper 1
30 multiple-choice questions. All questions will be of the direct choice type with 4 options.

Paper 2
This paper will consist of three structured questions plus one data-based question, all compulsory. The data-based question will constitute 15 marks. All answers will be written in spaces provided on the Question Paper.

Paper 3
This paper will consist of:
Section A worth 35 marks consisting of a variable number of structured questions, all compulsory.
These include questions which require candidates to integrate knowledge and understanding from
different areas of the syllabus;
Section B worth 20 marks consisting of a choice of one from two 20-mark questions.
All answers will be written in spaces provided on the Question Paper.

Content Assessed:
All C1 and C2 content taught up to end Term 2 will be assessed in all papers. Lasers and Semiconductors will be tested in Paper 1 only.

Marks allocated to assessment
Theory Papers (Papers 1, 2 and 3)
Knowledge with understanding : 40%
Handling, applying and evaluating information : 60%

Spiderman 3 Movie Outing?




faculty outing yesterday was rather mediocre in my opinion but good job to michelle for the wonderfully funny opening performance! :) haha and thanks to the faculty committee for all the hard work put in for the outing to be made possible!

next i am just wondering if the class is game on watching spiderman 3 together as a class someday? maybe we can ask miss huang / mrs chua along too... :)
